Dear Sewing Friends,

It has been some time since I have sent a list of classes, so I decided it was time to get something out. I hope you have had lots of time to make quilts and other“winter” projects the past few months. I know we are all very impatient for springto get here, but it looks like we will have to wait a bit longer for it to get warmenough to start the yard work. Well....that’s okay, it gives us more time to SEW,SEW, SEW!

Now to some classes....

Friday, April 29 Judy Galligan will be here to teach her wonderful Free MotionHow to Class. If you have wondered about it, but never tried free motion becauseyou just didn’t know how to begin, or if you already do some free motion sewing, but feel you could use a little more guidance, Judy is the gal who will bring you outof the dark and into the fun wonderful world of free motion sewing. Class fee is$22.00. Class will run from 10am until 2pm. These classes fill up in a hurry sodon’t delay. Seating is limited.

Friday, May 13, Perrie will be back to teach a class expressly on doing doll faces. Perrie says this is usually the technique in doll making that challenges the studentsthe most. Perrie’s doll faces are always so full of expression, and no two are everalike! Class is $20.00. She will cover facial proportitons and pplacment offeatures on both a flat face and 3-D head, contour shading for more definition, and needle sculpting for the brave! You will need a sewing machine, and she willprovide the fabric and bring colored pencils to use.

Saturday, May 21, Jane Arney will be here to teach her original Baby Wrap class. This cuddly little wrap, made of polar fleece, is the perfect little wrap to bring anew born home from the hospital, or use to take the wee ones out for a walk in thestroller or for an evening drive. This wrap is one piece, with a hood, arms and legs. You just lay the babies on the wrap, place their little arms and legs where they goand wrap them up. It just doesn’t get any easier! Class fee is $20.00, and goesfrom 10am until 1pm.

Diamond Technique Classes are still going strong. I offer two different days permonth. If you have features on your Designer Diamond Sewing and EmbroideryMachine that you don’t know much about, or perhaps have never used, these arethe classes you need! Class fee is $25.00.
